Q. What do you shoot with most?
A. After posting photos to my portfolio, I’ve been asked by a few photographers, “what equipment I used on the shoot?” Well, I’ll do you all a favor and link to the Amazon pages so if you have prime you can save some money while shopping. So, look for any clickable links. As a photographer since 2001 and working as a professional since 2013, I’ve come to learn that portability is everything. I’m finding myself carrying only two maybe three things on all shoots. This not only gives me less to forget, but also makes it easy to keep an eye on while shooting outdoors. If possible, I try to do all shoots without hiring a intern, helper or a second shooter. This also saves on overhead but liability also. So, each session from now on, I’ll do my best to post & help you buy all that is needed to shoot just like me. Now all you need is experience, technical know how and the developed photographers eye. If you need help with anything to do with photography. I can host a workshop to help you with anything you may need help with.
So for most sessions, I used the Nikon D750 FX-format Digital SLR Camera Body with the Nikon AF-S FX NIKKOR 50mm f/1.4G and the Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 70-200mm f/2.8E FL ED VR. For lighting, I used Fotodiox Pro Speedring, attached to that was the 24″x24 Professional Protable Foldable Off-Camera Softbox and the Nikon SB-910 Speedlight for the flash. Holding the 910, Speedring, stand and softbox, I used the Interfit COR750 7.5 Foot 4 Section Air Damped Stand. The speedlight was optically flashed, no radio needed as the D750 can be the master for the 910 speedlight.
